I think the local maritime museum has a "sub" similar to that one.

Success of british and italian midget subs made the Kriegsmarine develop some, too. The Seetiger is finally an enlarged 'Schwertwal'-class. Driven by a Walther-engine and lenghtened for more range and armed with four G7-torpedoes the Seetiger is a dangerous weapon lurking at enemies ports.

In reality the Seehund-class / Type XXVII was with 285 units the most built german midget submarine. As allied Asdic sonars could not detect them (hull too small) and hydrophones could not hear them (too slow, too silent) the boats were realised as dangerous thread. Their range was 500 miles, armament was two G7e-torpedoes (left no bubbles). 138 boats came into service after 01/1945.

Some are displayed at museums today.

The first frigate of the Kriegsmarine, the Flottenbegleiter-class, 10 units were built. The ships prooved unsuccessfull, they were designed hastily. All of them were rebuilt or refitted including major changes to their hulls.

Many thanks to cybermax, who did a great start with it. I only did some minor corrections.

A late successor to Flottenbegleiter 1936 class is the F-1945 class.

You're missing a lot of shading on the aft deckhouse.
