The Fort T of pleasure yachts, the Nordic Folkboat is one of the most important boat designs in the history of hobby sailing.
Designed in 1942 by the Scandinavian Yacht Racing Union it became an instant success and with with more than 4000 registered boats world wide today it remains one.

The drawing depicts a generic Folkboat. I've attributed it to Sweden since the first one was build in Göteborg, but it could just as well have written Denmark or Norway, hence why I haven't included a flag.

Another Swedish sailing yacht, this time from Fabola Yachts. I'm the happy owner of a heavily modified version of one of these.

Nice looking yachts there, Thiel.

Now I want to draw a yacht too :) But since I find modern motor yachts pretty ugly nor I like sailing ships I'm gonna draw the old steam yacht Delphine; the one that served as USS Dauntless (PG-61).

You could always have a go at the various royal yachts.

Thanks Alex, I'd have missed that.

I wonder why I never submitted that for uploading...

Actually I'm gonna claim the presidential yacht USS Potomac instead.
