If someone has R. A. Burt's "British Battleships of World War I" and can scan the drawings of the Dreadnought, it'd, too, provide a very useful and accurate souce. (I have the book, but cannot at the moment scan...) However, the submitted Russian linedrawings are very, very close to Burt's drawings, so I'd go with them.

I'm left wondering... were the props really so close together as shown on those drawings?

I have changed the drawing as I did not want to have the horribly wrong hull!
Many thanks to those who have provided new references for me, I will make sure and do the ship justice.
Yet another HUGE picture from Golly, you really don't mess around when it comes to reference material!!! Thanks
Here is the correct drawing so far. Should be finished by the weekend. Cheers!

Oh, this is still a WIP, I am aware of the wrong canvas size!

could you shade the turrets a bit less, as the ones facing aft now look a lot lighter then the structure. other then that, I really can't find any flaws in a quick lookthrough. don't forget to shade the hull of the large sloop as well, but one thing.... please don't hurry it! just make it perfect :P

I have R. A. Burt's "British Battleships of World War I" borrowed from the local library and currently am weighing up the pro and cons of claims that I tell the library, that I accidently left it on the bus after the bus was hijacked by the TLTE , the dog ate it, during my alien abduction the Kinkgons took it back to planet "ZZOG" sort of thing.
It real is a great book, I will see what I can to.

Graham, DO IT! I love all my Burt books (and I think I have them all...) It's soooo worth it! 8-) But if my new printerhead arrives as promised tomorrow, I might be able to provide a copy of the Dreadnought pages...
