There's no such thing as "nothing left to draw" If you can down 10 pints and draw, you're doing alright by my standards

(capable of using Thorium)

&

Oak Ridge National Laboratory Molten Salt Breeder Reactor

The culmination of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory research during the 1970–76 timeframe resulted in an Molten Salt Breeder Reactor (MSBR) design which would use LiF-BeF2-ThF4-UF4 (72-16-12-0.4) as fuel, was to be moderated by graphite with a 4 year replacement schedule, use NaF-NaBF4 as the secondary coolant, and have a peak operating temperature of 705 °C.

Thorium reactors using molten salt have been available since 1964 in our own world.

Still not sold really, a ship that size would have either gas turbines, diesels or old oil boilers

This AU world is larger than Earth (48,000 KM across the map), and I can't accept the range restrictions that come with strictly conventional designs. If I went that route, I'd never even be able to leave my own little inlet sea (with this design). Now if it was a 1,500 t frigate, then sure. But a 5,000 t DDG? It wouldn't be practical.

Let's say I wanted, to sail just around the eastern side of my continent, and go visit the Dracan Commenwealth. That'd be roughly 27,870 KM one way. And that's almost a straight shot. Doesn't include having to sail around territorial waters (via international waters). If I went there, and then sailed back home, that would be the equivalent to sailing around the Earth (at the equator) roughly 1.39 times. >_<

The landing pad is too small and the missile radars are laid out in a very screwy manner.

Besides, that type of stealth features were not in practice during the 60s and early 70s. The vessel looks more like an early 90s one.

Catz, it still needs A LOT of work, and how did you figure the scale of the map?

Used the 1500 km key that's right there in the map legend.
