Great drawing and well done. I would also like to see the Koln class updated so.

Please, dear Kim...have it by all mean! *pffeeuuww* I resolved to try my luck on a badge and what a job! Now I better understand your difficulties and can better appreciate, too, your artistic accomplishments!

As for the other very nice comments; first of all: Thank you! Secondly, I'd be more than happy to undertake am updating project with regards to the Kölns, unless someone objects!

Very nice updates, as with other similar drawings, and nice to see our revered founder still acknowledged :)

Maybe, but these would be 50-60 year old boats. People forget, ships just get old.

Hessen at least would only have been 43 years old today, just one year older the Hamilton, and I'm willing to bet that it didn't see nearly as many sea days as the Coast Guard cutter. Few ships does.

Thanks Hood. Very much appreciated!

As for the age comment. So true. And mind you; these ships very very busy! Far busier than probably was originally anticipated! Like I mentioned in my ingress, they saw extensive service in the North Atlantic, though never designed for that ocean, and they operated in the Mediterranean, far from their original area of operations. Also they all made frequent far-distant ports-of-call. As for the Hessen, which will be coming next, she was, ironically the last completed (1968) and the first to decommission (1990). But I think everyone can agree that, as far as being German warships (with that nation's unfortunate naval history!) they certainly gave value for the money spent on them!
