They do, but that's hardly illegal.

Ah okay. I just read up on some of the stuff. I have heard about them before, but never knew some of the stuff.
While their mission is good, their way of going about it is... negligent at the very least. Sorry :)

Admirable goals, dangerous actions and heavy equipment seldom mix. Sea Shepard has all of the above, supplemented by a lot of bathtub chemistry and a "it's not illegal if there are no police to arrest you" attitude.

As much as I dislike them, I must say that they did a good job painting the Irwin this year, though- and Rodondo has, as always, done her great justice.

The Jolly Roger - provided that they fly it - would be a legitimate inclusion in a Shipbucket drawing. It's their organizational insignia, and as you'll note, it's not even a Jolly Roger technically - it's not meant to be a sign of intentional lawbreaking.

I partially disagree: it does not exists "the" Jolly Roger but each pirat was having its own flag decorates with skull, skeleton,...
From this point of view the Sea Shepard flag becomes one of the last flying jolly roger.
And probably they had much more money than somali pirates, enough money, for ships, for flags, for web site, for press conferences,...
