After WW2 The Alcoa company resumed its cargo/passengers service to the Caribeans using three modified Victory steamers. These Ships could carry up to 96 passengers in style, and including air-conditioned cabins as well as all public spaces on the ship. The ships recieved the designation VC2-S1-AP7 under the MARAD designation system.
