A question: you indicate that these ships were to have been armed with twin 12' turrets? Why abandon the excellent Obuchov triple mounting? In my view you're simply under-gunning these vessels right now! And to me that doesn't sound like a prudent policy, especially considering the Dreadnought-arms race at full bloom at the time of your conceptions.
In WTM first series of dreadnoughts (1907-1908) - Real project DV Skvortsov - chief naval architect of the Saint Petersburg dockyard. September 1907 - twin 12 "turrets.
In 1907 - triple turrets - too early.
The authors of the world WTM so decided.
The next series - triple 12 "turrets.
