Hey all!

Tonight I was lurking through the Forum and the Site and came across the Gem that is Golly's Ulyanovsk Supercarrier. Now, I tried to put together a little Carrier Battle Group, and this is what I came up with:

1x Ulyanovsk CVN
1x Slava CG
1x Kara CG
2 Udaloy DDG
1x Kashin DDG
2x Alpha SSN
1x Berezina AOR

Now I don't know if this would be a possible or probable Formation, and if someone with more knowledge than me could help me with this it would be great! Now, I wanted to know how much a chance this formation would have against an American or NATO Formation of relativly the same composition. Any idea's?

IF the dutch submarine's can kill a cruiser, destroyer and supercarrier from the USA and take off without even being found.
Hell sure the russian's can do that aswell then.

But i dont know anything about who would win.

-F125 Baden-Württemberg class frigate
-Clemencau class aircraft carrier
-Zeven provincien class frigate
-Poolster class AOR
-Amsterdam class AOR
-Minas Gerais aircraft carrier

Part of the equation is not just the number of ships, but the type of other support. For example, how much satellite data on naval activity is available to each group? What about the intergration of long range, land based aviation?
Finally, a big part of the equation is the level of readiness of each force - what is the threat level, what force fires first, etc.

by the time the two battlegroup got close this conflict would have already gone nuclear....
