Thanks mate, this will replace some. BTW it seems there were no plans for 15cm DPs. The 12,8 DP was to replace the 10,5cm and all the older 15cm turrets at once. The overall effectiveness would have been remarkably increased.

Yes, overally, the 5 inch range DP gun armament for destroyers eventually proved its worth (specially if included with good FC) in the WWII era. But taken how suprisingly long it took other navies aside USN to reach it, having it fielded in mid 40's only makes the AU more crediple and authentic feeling.

Hope to see all the German DKM DD designs in this thread eventually, and really looking forward to seeing the Spahkreuzer finished! Excellent work!

Thanks. But got to stop for 3 weeks now. All my sources are stored at my office, family vacation and 2 tournaments are waiting. And my wife said "no pc!"

The Hai class is an enlenghtened G7 torpedo with a cockpit and another G7 slung under it. Introduced 1945 and proved unsuccessful in reality.

In my AU, there are built hundreds of them and... bullshit. It was no success and it keeps no success. Prototype lost in test dive. Project stopped.
