You're right, erik, it's SPG-51C. I'll correct that!

WOW i like these ships , a shame that they are scrapped! altrough the bridge and dome still are in Navy Museum , now used as exposition about the current operations of the dutch navy and in the dome you can feel how much wind force the radar made if it was spinning.

Excellento !!! :) One of my favourite warships, a design that packed a lot into a relatively small hull.

so, I have fixed the 1990 version of the tromp as well.
- wrong, deleted! -
after this the 1996 version of the tromp and the 1999 version of both. I'm planning to make the de ruyter as she looks now as well (so the bridge and gun on a platform before our naval museum) and of course some neverbuilds are coming.

I am sorry I didn't not this earlier, but the Mk-29 GMLS is backwards. The ladder is on the side closest to the superstructure.

...actually they not! Tim, take a thorough look at the pictures of the ships' class and you'll see that they are correctly positioned. I'Ve spent the morning looking at the Sea Sparrow launcher and its details. What seems to have taken place is that the old Sea Sparrow was either replaced or modified to bring it up to date, since pictures from before and after the big rebuilding of the ships in 1992/-93 clearly show difference in details!

I have now reposted correct versions of the two ships in my first post as well as including a corrected version of the TRomp as of 1990. Please note that the Sea Sparrow may not agree with what's on the parts sheets. This is due to the fact that I've used photographic evidence to redraw the correct versions as they really looked like at the time.
