It looks to me like the funnel/hangar should extend further forwards.
Ase for the gun, it does seems to be a 76mm. At least the size fits.

yes, but on a ship like this you can't make decks 'lighter' and for an ship that is basically an freighter, these are pretty unorthodox designs! I don't say it can't be done, but it looks well....... weird.

Perhaps a bit more contrast between hull and superstructure. Otherwise it looks smashing.
