Launched in at Arsenal de Lorient, she entered service in 1932, as depot ship for 6 submarines. The ship served in WW2 during the Norwegian campaign, and at the end of the war was in South-East Asia.
After the war she served in Indo-China intill 1955 and returned to France serving in Toulon mainly as an acomodation ship, and was decommossioned in 1959 she was scrapped at Cannes in 1962.
Main particulars are 4,350t, Length 122m, 17.20m beam. She had two Sulzer engines 7000hp for 16 knots. As built her armament was 4 90mm guns, 7 40mm guns and 12 20 mm guns. She had a crew of 186 men
