Mitch, you seem to fail to understand what the interfaces/converters do.
They translate the signal from one unit so the receiving unit can understand them. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that the receiver can use them.
WarPac equipment is designed and structured markedly different (At least according to what's available on the net) due to amongst others an entirely different maintenance culture.
NATO equipment can be combined fairly easily because it's all designed to be compatible with STANAG 5511 and 5516, but as you yourself say, you'll still need specialized interfaces between the units.
As far as I'm aware all the cases where Soviet and NATO equipment has been used together, the integration has either been very expensive and protracted or kept together with string, tape and sweat.

You probaly fail to understand that these interfaces are already alive. And easy to install.

It isnt hard to change signals and let them interact. The only thing you need, is probaly some space!
We have 2 Vaxes on M fregates, they are Civilian, and to interact with militairy stuff, we need an interface. Wich is quite huge.

Everything can work togheter, that is not the issue.

No Mitchell, they are not. Within NATO they are, but that's only possible to do because the systems are build to be able to talk with each other from the start. This is a very important feature.
By vaxes do you mean the Virtual Address eXtension?

do we have a good drawing of a 8 / 16 cell MK-41 VLS?

2 points, both for the above ones as the below one still needs fixes from my last post :
- SPY-1 should be angled 90 degrees with each other, right now you have an large blind spot to the sides
- those props are just awfull, PLEASE change them for something else.... your second ship shows that you can draw good props, so....

Ok, HeuHen, have to admit that you're a daring designer. But what about the sogging-like stern section of the bottom of your Bravo-frigate design? Just looks odd, but I'm sure you have a good reason for it!

Thiel, I'm not sure you are referring to the same thing i was curious about.I should've formulated myself better: i meant the downward angle of the Bravo-type's stern bottom section, which appears to have been curved in such a manner as to make it look like the ship's bottom is sogging aft.
