Good morning, guys.
After using WW2 surplus material in the 50s and early 60s, the Bundeshwehr wanted indigenous AT weapons and Dynamit Nobel made the PzF 44 Panzerfaust 2 Lanze, a reusable, recoiless launcher for rocket propelled HEAT grenades.

A launcher cartridge using the Davis principle for counter-balancing the recoil and reducing the rearward blast was used to launch the first meters of the rocket fligth. It was equiped with a removable Hensoldt sight. It was used in Germany until being replaced by the more powerful Panzerfaust 3 in the early 1990s. Cheers.
