Imperial Vestrician Navy
Multi-Mission Cruisers
Shoukaku-class Stealth Multi-Mission Cruisers
The
Shoukaku-class (翔鶴型軽巡洋艦, Shoukaku-gata keijun'yōkan) is a class of three Imperial Vestrician Navy guided-missile cruisers designed as multi-mission stealth ships with a focus on land attack. It is a multi-role class that was designed with a primary role of naval gunfire support and secondary roles of surface warfare and anti-aircraft warfare.
Note:
• This class of ship is the only class that retains the British Royal Navy Grey-colored scheme after the IVN reforms in 2017.
• This class of ship is not also affected by 2015 IVN new naming convention, as per advise and recommendation by the Emperor of the State and Parliament as being a command ship and honorable flagship of the Vestrician Royal Family and the Vestricia itself.
• The only class of ship which is highly stealthy and very technologically advanced in Vestrician arsenal.
Development
Development of this class started during 2005 Fleet Review. It was heavily inspired from the Britannian Destroyers from Code Geass series from 2009 that they start research it by the Rosenworth Academic City-State and BAE Systems Maritime ships based in the same place, for the possibility of making it a reality and use of its design for a stealth. All of its defense suite was technically copied from Chinese and Russian CIWS System, albeit more stealthy and versatile than to its counterparts. It also introduce the use of hidden active electronically scanned array radars onboard ships of the Vestrician ships.
