Why not? SPG-62 and Smart-S MK2 can work togheter.
If he uses a lot of SPG-62 in his navy, its better to keep using them. More systems=more time to train people= more expensive.

please use the newest STIR drawing, it is on the dutch parts sheet....... other then that, looking good now!
one small comment left: the search radar of the phalanx and the STIR are disabling each other right now...... so I suggest hightening the STIR or lowering the PHALANX a bit
@ mitch: can it?! didn't know that.... but well, this looks much better anyways

The new stir drawing is higher anyway.
Plus looks you shoulnd care about, it is the best usage of equipment for your navy.

Look at Chile. They need to send their crew for their ships to the Netherlands for the Smart-S/LW-08. And to Brittain for the british equipment.
To the USA for the Phalanx...
You know how much that costs?
They tried to make their own training camp, but that costs so much that they will not.

1. Dont care about looks.
2. Care about usage, and cost efficiency.
-Ace didnt i tell you before about this and about Interfaces? (That equipment from IE russia can be used with items from the EU/USA?!

I should stick with one of the same.

However, making them work together can be very tricky and expensive, and it puts you in situations where nobody can train you since nobody else is using the equipment like you do it.
Pus, it means that you'll have to modify the equipment to work on the same frequencies, which in some cases simply isn't an option due to volume/weight/power issues.

Interfaces to connect Signaal/thales items to American is already alive since 77'?
And it costs barely anything (only 20.000 Euro for 6 bics)

The Chilian had to pay 3200 euro per 2 people to get a room in Den Helder, for just a month.
Then they costed 33.000 each to train for M frigates (Weapon department ofcourse).
And then you should think that a M frigare has about 22 people avarage on Weapon department. (Today).
761.200 Euro for christ sake. (The NL made a deal for 500.000 with the Chilian if i am correct)
