I have to admit I am not a fan on these light grey lines on a dark blue/dark red background, making the contrast very stark. additionally, the dark blue railing has a very different contrast against the white background and against the blue superstructure, making it look as if it disappears at some areas of the ship.

Here are two of the earlier designs for the Chapayev class:

Project 68 was the successor to the Pr.28 light cruiser. In most respects they are more or less the same, albeit the Chapayev class has twin 37mm mounts, as opposed to quads. None of the ships were completed to this original design.

Project 68S replaced the Soviet 100mm mounts with German 105mm mounts due to the Soviet mounts not being ready in time.
