Hellenic Motor Company maufactures ATV and UTV based on proven technology from Yamaha. Engines are provided from Atlas Motor, an AU motorcycle manufacturer from Hellenic Kingdom which established in 1901. From mid 1970's all Atlas mototcycles use license made engine from Suzuki or Yamaha. These ATV appreared into late 2000's and are still in production with facelifts for civilians or military.

The numbering comes from cc, so the "660RZ" has a single cylinder 660cc 5-valve engine, the "750RZ" and the "850XV" a twin cylinder 5-valve 750cc or 850cc respectively.

Here is the back up history of the Leonidas VI Tank Destroyer 75mm:

The late Leonidas tank destroyer with the 75mm gun and 230hp engine. Similar with the German Jagdpanzer 38 (or Hetzer), appeared in battlefield from November 1943. However, early Leonidas Spear I (Δόρυ in Hellenic language) had entered service some months before, with the 57mm Y1940/42 gun, a Hellenic derivative of the old 6pdr Hotchkiss cannon 57/L70 modified to fire British QF 6-pounder ammunition. Although more powerful from the 6-pounder, Hellenic Army wanted something with better penetration. The solution was the Spear 2 with the Y1942 75/L47 cannon. Because of the heavier engine from Jagdpanzer 38t (with thick cast iron block and head) the Leonidas chassis accepted the 75mm with minor modifications.

The Spear 2 remained in service until mid 1960's, replaced by the AMX-13/105 FL-12. Together with Leonidas tanks, Spears were also used in Hellenic production war movies in 1960's and 1970's, painted in Wermaht livery as well.

An unsuccesful early WW2 heavy tank of HLK, the Titan Heavy Tank.

Based on the Vickers Independent A1E1, development of the Titan started in 1931.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vickers ... ndependent

Two prototypes were tested in 1933, powered by the same Armstrong Siddeley engine and gearbox with the A1E1, as also the hydraulic braking system. However, the front small turrets were eliminated and a large single turret was installed, a revolutionary concept for that era. A small batch of Titan was produced in 1935-37, with a 57mm/L70 cannon, a modified Hotchkiss 6-pounder early 1890's/early 1900's naval gun which was produced under license by Pyrkal. There were also twin Hotchkiss/Pyrkal Y1926/32 8mm machine guns in hull. That was a heavy barrel local derivative of the M1922/24/26 Hotchkiss chambered for the 8mmX56 Mannlicher cartridge.

Late production Titan from 1938-41 had the 75mm/L42 gun, which was a modified French Anti-Aircraft cannon. Early production untis were also refitted with the 75mm gun.

Pyrkal had production license from these 2:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_d ... _Schneider

The most siginificant change was the replacement of the petrol engine with a water cooled McDowall MachineWorks diesel, based on the Rolls Royce Condor C.I and the Hipano Suiza 12X/Y. The McD 12V-CI only shared valves, pistons/connecting rods and crankshaft with the Condor, all other were new or derived from Hispano Suiza. For the Ttitan, the McD 12V-CI was rated at 420 hp. In total 3 tank regiments were equipped with Titan tanks, each with 40 tanks plus a number of Titan with a crane instead of turret.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolls-Royce_Condor

Although the gearbox was adopted to the new engine, the much higher torgue of the 12V-CI led to transmission failures. Brakes also failed occasionally, while its armor was not adequate for the German Panzer III and IV. Therefore, the Titan was slaughtered in the Battle of Thessaloniki, only a handful escape south. But there were several successful shots, destroying German tanks with the 75mm cannon, which lead to further developement of the antitank 75mm cannon.

Only one Titan tank survive today from about 160 built.

The failure of the Titan lead to the development of a new heavy tank, the Talos, which entered service in mid 1944.

And something from present times:

For about 4 decades RHAF used Vickers Super VC.10K for air refuelling, originally 6 from UK similar with RAF VC.10K2 and later several ex Olympic Airways airframes were also converted to tanker aircraft using the British Mk17/Mk20 system, with three hose and drogue systems. All were manufactured under license by Hellenic Aerospace Industry. The VC.10 was replaced by another ex Olympic Airways modified aircraft, the McDonnell Douglas MD-11K, recycling the equipment from the VC.10 with minor improvements. The MD-11 was not the best platfrom, tail heavy at landing and not very rebiable, but Olympic Airways Technical Base manaded to keep very good availabity of 90%. OA was quite late in A330, ordering 18 A330-200 and 12 A330-300 in late 1990's. Deliveries of A350 from 2016 led to decommission the A330-200 fleet gradually, which of course was mofified to tanker aircraft. Some of those A330 had side door and could be used for transport loads on their strengthened floor if the seats were removed. Up to 60 tons of freight can be transported. 12 A330K planned to delivered to RHAF.

The prototype HAI modified A330K , the ''794'' flew in late 2017 and certified for operations in mid 2019, en ex all passenger aircraft named ''Mount Pindos''. The ''802'', an passenger or freight airframe named ''Mount Olympus'' was certified in February 2022. Note that windows were removed. The last A330Ks, the ''804'' and ''805'' are being modified to tanker aircraft and will enter service into 2024.

Hellenic Kingdom and Serbia have long and deep relations from early 19th century. After Serbia became independent country in 1991, a new bilateral Defence & Trade Agreement was signed in 1995.

Several products of Serbian Defence Industry founded their way to Hellenic Armed forces, among them the Alas missile system. Hellenic Kingdom participated in the development of ALAS and created its own version, named Manti core (from the mythical monster). The Manticore Missile System entered service in 2016, using the ELBO 26M36 NG military truck based TEL. Later UAE also adopted the ALAS, using the same six-tube launcher on the local platform Nimr.

Hellenic Army came late to Gepard, in early 1980's. On one hand there where the M42D(HL), on the other hand the Iolkos Tank Factory had full production lines because of license production of Leopard 1. In total 936 Leopard 1 were ordered by Hellenic Kingdom in 1970, of which first 164 manufactured in West Germany and rest in Iolkos Tank Factory, plus all Leopard 1 variants. Among them where 272 Archer 1 SPAAG, the Hellenic version of Gepard. Named from its FCS, the Archer was the first Gepard equipped with digital FCS, co-developed with Contraves and Delta Electronics, based on the experience with the Sea Arrow FCS. First prototype of Archer revealed in HELDEX 1984, in Iolkos Tank Factory pavillion next to a Leopard 1HL.

In total Hellenic Army received 820 Leopard 1, which were organised into 10 Armored Brigades, each with 24 Archer 1 SPAAG. Hellenic Navy Marines received 136 Leopard 1 organized into 8 reinforced companies with 17 tanks plus 4 Archer each.
