I would have sworn that they carried AN/SPG-62s

Mitch - could you please link to those images instead, as they are wider than even my monitor*!

*Not quite wider than both together, but still.

Heuhen, do you have any sources that can confirm that the FNAN-class will get 40MM? Also, your typos are embarrasing. It's "Fridtjof Nansen" and "Thor Heyerdahl". Please, for your own personal and our national pride's sake, get it right!

I typed the name correctly except the one place in my text. The headline on this page I have not written but it did Golly ...

when it comes to the 40mm, so I went to check around a bit, and it appears that military is a little secret of such things so I will remove it for now. But she will get in a 40mm Bofors gun CIWS Mk.3 on the hangar in the future.

The closest I can be specific of about this (without getting the military on my neck!!) is in from the "milforum": http://milforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10668&p=341473

Found this here, so now I can do it perfectly!

When i was on board, i spoke to a corporal of the Weapon department (my own section).
He said they carried 4x .50 cal as Anti air and anti surface (small).
Wich will be replaced with 20mm later this year. He never said anything about the 40mm.
He also said the ship was fitted for but not with for a 76mm on the back (i asume a bofors will fit then aswell, or Ciws). And that the front gun can be replaced with a 127mm.

That sounds interesting. Why not right from the start?
They build amazing looking ships, with an incredible interior. And a small weapon lay-out.
I am sure a M-fregate can pwn the ass of that ship any time.

I have also heard about the 76mm and 127mm but it is just to wait and see.

is a bit skeptical if the M-Fregate is able to pwn nansen. today: yes, completed and equipped with all weapons and helicopters, "No! (But you just kidding, probably!)

and by the way, if it has not been for the social party in the government. then the defense had certainly ordered a monster of a frigate that an eh ... Baby weapon Fregate, which only has a plus side and that is the NSM!
