The ISA forces are mostly underknown in the world and are overestimated in terms of power but they fight to the last bullet and drop of blood. Eagle Class Destroyer Escort

The Eagle Class of destroyer escorts Arctics first small 5" ships. They are armed with 8x 5in dual purpose guns, 14x 20mm AA guns, 6x 40mm AA guns, 1x quintuple Mark 15 Torpedo Launcher, and 1x quintuple Mark 14 Torpedo tubes. The Eagle Class was bulit in 1942 and served untill 1976. The last Eagles where all scrapped in 1981, along with the Caledons

The Eagles are designed to be in the middle of a fleet. Protecting the Carrier, Battleship, or any other Center Ship from enemy vessels that breached the outer layers.

Caledon Class Destroyer Escort

The Caledons where bulit off 9 Eagle Class hulls that were paused after 1943. The first Caledon was completed in 1973 and the following 8 where completed in 1973-74. the Caledons featured 8x RGM-84 Harpoon Missiles, 6x Mk 32 SVTT, 2x Bofors 57mm Guns, and 2 Bofors 40mm.

The Caledons where retired in 1980 after the Brisk Class took over the role of Close Fleet Protection. Along with the Caledons all of the remaning Eagles where scrapped in 1981.

Brisk Class Destroyer Escort

The Brisk is the most modern and uptodate Destroyer Escort in the ISAN. With an added Heilcopter pad and hanger the Brisk can now proform many other roles than just last ditch protection. The Brisks are much more capable and can now operate on their own. Brisk Class ships can also use their rib boats to insert spec ops into enemy ground.

Imperial South Arctic UH-43A "Spartan" Utility Helicopter




The UH-43 is the main Utility Helicopter for the ISA Navy, Army, Marines, and Airforce. Introduced in 1983 the UH-43 has been used in many operations involving ISA. Many different types of the Helicopter are in the Military such as Special Operations and CSAR. The UH-43 can also be used for bringing in and out soldiers. Its armoured fuselage allows it to quickly get in a hot-zone and either drop troops, pick up troops, or med evac wounded. The UH-43 can also takeoff and land on Aircraft Carriers and Helicopter Carriers as its rotors can fold up and the tail piece can fold in and be easily stored in a hangar of a carrier. The Type shown is the UH-43A RTT (Regular Troop Transport), this type can hold up to 6-10 troops and has a crew of 2 (Pilot and Co-Pilot). In the RTT the Helicopter can fold up its seats to accommodate stretchers for wounded. As of 1999, ISA has counted that they have about 4,094 UH-43 Helicopters. The A Type has be used scene its introduction in 1983.


Imperial South Arctic UH-43B "Spartan" Close Air Support Helicopter




The UH-43B is a CAS Helo for the ISA Army and Marines. It is armed with 2x M457 (7.62x51mm SOUTH) and 2 LAU-68 Rocket pods. This Type was introduced in 1984 one year after the UH-43A, the B Type is designed to assist the A with providing fire to pin enemy troops so the A can drop off or pick up what it needs. The UH-43B can also use its GATR-70 Rockets to engage lightly armoured targets such as trucks and APC's. Scene the Helo has its 2 M457 Miniguns it can only hold up to 6 troops, its crew includes a Pilot, Co-Pilot, and 2 Gunners. During 1989 ISA's National Airshow hosted a mock up of how an 30 minute in and out operation would look like. 4 UH-43B CAS Helos where involved. During GT-183's first pass, softening up the DZ for the UH-43A's, the tail rotor clipped a building and started to spin out of control throwing 1 of the M457 Gunners out killing him. The Helo then crashed nose down into the mock road killing one of the pilots and wounding the other. It took 4 hours to get the co-pilot out, as the door had jammed. Other than that 7 UH-43's have been lost in accidents. 3,981 UH-43B's have been produced.

PC-8




The PC-8 (Patrol Craft Model 8) is a Patrol Aircraft for the ISAAF. The aircraft has a crew of 2 (Pilot and Surveillance Officer) and 3 Hardpoints for different loadouts, the most common loadout is: 1x centerline 250L Drop Tank, 1x AN/AAQ-28 LITENING Targeting Pod, and 1x LAU-70 Rocket Pod. The PC-8 is powered by a 738kW (1050hp) Tamika Pavilion DTU-88 Turboprop Engine giving it a max speed of 580km/h. First flown in 1974 and introduced in late 74 the PC-8 has been used for Artillery Spotting and Patrol for ISA Borders. About 249 PC-8's have been produced.


PC-8T




The PC-8T is very similar to the PC-8 in terms of looks,but the centerline hardpoint is removed and the cockpit has had some changes. Its role is different though as its designed to train pilots for the T-4 Jet Trainer. Being a trainer the crew layout is different: the student sits in the front and the instructor in the rear. The PC-8T uses the same Turboprop engine as the PC-8, and uses alot of the same technology as well. First being delivered to the Imperial Training Corps in August of 1976 to replace the ageing TC-4 Piston Engine Trainer. 334 aircraft have been built in the Training Type.

PC-4A Maritime Patrol Aircraft




First flown in 1964, the PC-4 Long Range Maritime Patrol was designed to replace the very much outdated PC-1 piston engine Maritime Patrol Aircraft. The aircraft has a crew of 11-9 and is powered by 4 3670kW (40921hp) Tamika Avatagar ES-13-CT-78 Turboprop Engines. The internal bomb bay allows the aircraft to hide ASW weapons and other things that might be in the Bomb Bay. Adding to the bomb bay, it has 4 external hardpoints. The MAD boom in the tail allows the PC-4 to detect submarines close to the aircraft and being close to the surface. The Type entered service in 1965 and scene has been upgraded from the A to C (A,B,C). 271 PC-4A-C aircraft have been built with 42 PC-4E's being sold to other nations.

Imperial South Arctic Type 14 MBT




The Type 14 was designed in 1990 to replace the Type 12 MBT and A74A MBT in service with ISA Ground Forces. Designed around the 4-Stroke 30 litre Diesel V8 Tamika DHMI 7VA10WTK and the Tamika Steel and Gun Works 120mm 45 Caliber Smoothbore Cannon with assisted loading. The tank has a crew of 4 (Driver, Commander, Gunner, and Loader) and has 38 rounds for the main gun. For secondary weapons it features 1 roof mounted .50 Cal MG and 1 7.62x51mm (SOUTH) MG23. The Type 14 has very good mobility making it adapt to ISA's rough, hilly ground. The Type 14 got its first taste of combat during the 1996 Gra-Bonisa Civil War when ISA Intervened. The tank has not suffered any combat losses but, Type 14 345 took 6 rounds of APDS from an unidentified 1950's era tank. Shrugging off the rounds like nothing and destroying it with its own APFSDS round. The ISATF have received 386 Type 14's with 20 modified on order.
