Executioner Class Patrol Carrier

[ img ]

The Executioner Class is a new type of Light Starfighter Carrier. The "Patrol Carrier" is a small, light, and heavily armed ship. Suppose to patrol space for any Rebel forces, they would be able to defend them self until a larger Imperial fleet arrived.

The ships would be completed after the destruction of the first Death Star, seeing action in many major battles across the Galaxy.

Offensive weaponry is: 12 Heavy Turbolaser cannons, 2 Ion cannons, and 2 Tractor beam projectors.
Defensive weaponry is: 128 Point defensive Turbolaser cannons and 24 Light Turbolaser cannons.
Starfighters carried: 48 TIE/In space superiority starfighter, 40 TIE/Bombers, and 23 TIE/IN Interceptor

Executioner Class ships would be lost at a alarming frequency. The first ship in the class, "Titan", would be lost in the first 2 months of service. 25 ships were built and 19 would be lost. Cheep, Easy to produce, and ok at its role, they would serve until the downfall of the Empire. At the time of Jakku, 18 ships where left, by the end: 1 was lost and 6 damaged.
