I don't know why the greek CoA's are so difficult to draw
That's because Greek so called "heraldry" is not based on centuries of classic European heraldic tradition. Basically, they just draw whatever they want on their "coat-of-arms" (or rather just emblems) without any rules or regulations. The same thing can be seen in the US great seals (especially those of states) and Soviet "state emblems". It's difficult to explain; you just need to be a heraldry snob to get it
Thanks, I've suspected something like that. Nice to get it confirmed, because when you look at (most of) the greek CoA's they look relatively simple, but when you then begin drawing them you discover that many of tx CoA's for Royal Navy are much more easy to draw even if they look more complex
So I reckon it have with the heraldic rules (or lack of this) to do
