Hi,
heres a redo of an older drawing of mine:
The "Flugzeugträger 15.000t", is a rather obscure design for a Diesel powered light CV, that was apparently designed to be "mass produced".
It was planned in June of 1942 and was most likely designed with commerce raiding in mind, as were similar other German CV designs of the same year.
I am not sure, if this is an "official" Kriegsmarine design, as I only have one obscure secondary source on it.
It does strongly resemble the "Flugdeckkreuzer E V" and could very well be a variant of it.
The airwing would have consisted of twelve BF 109s and ten JU 87s, which could be launched with the assistance of two catapults.
In true German CV fashion, it was to be armed with eight 15cm guns in four twin casemate mounts.
Top speed was 24 knots with a stated range of 18.000nm at 19 knots.
The source suggests that there also was to be a three shaft variant with a top speed of 26 knots.
P.S.:
The drawing should replace the mislabeled "Flugzeugkreuzer" in the archive:
