some really good drawings here.

For me the hull shading (color) isn't totally my cup of tea, it feel a bit off...:#1
Netherlands - Evertsen 1896
France - Formidabel 1891
United States - BM-10 Wyoming 1902

But I like the more soft hull shading of:
Netherlands - Tijger 1868

#1: in that era, wasn't the a bit more copper in the red antifouling paint back then, giving the red color a bit of a copper tone?

if the cooper-red I presume they used back then, was that orange/brown
