The L30-class, the ship that do to much! Relax Dave

L30 class was designed as a replacement for the L3 and the L5 class and being a step up in capability for the Navy and the Army. It also partially replaced L7 class.

The L30 class is a class of ship that is small enough to be operated with a small and young crew with 2 experienced officer. It's role was:
- cargo transport out to the many small bases, placed around on the many Islands, but also support the public on behalf of the government.
it's secondary roles:
- supplying small boats with fuel, ammunition, food, etc.
- supplying submarines
- supporting army operation at landing, by transporting equipment to shore and providing a helicopter deck.
- can operate as a lead ship in small convoys, if needed.

- 4 x single 12.7 mm machine guns, in storage.

Aviation facility:
landing space for medium size helicopter, can stor helicopter on deck and with limitation take small helicopter under deck.

L30 class was a part of a large support fleet of the Caledonia Navy, they operate as a totally separate organisation, in similar fashion to the Coast guard, it is also the main reason for these support ships having some armament, some of them have even a heavier armament expected of a support ship. L30 class worked alongside ships like (Note these drawings will be updated in the future):

The L10 class family

L10 class is a series of medium sized landing craft in Caledonia Navy, intended to replace many of the aging landing craft of various sizes and types and reduce it to one common design-family, to simplify and reduce operation cost of these vessels. The Navy build strategy is to build many of them in over several build periods. The Navy are expecting to build at least around a 60 of them, or more.

They are replacing L1-class family, that have been the work force in the Navy, since the 70's, but are showing there age and battle wounds.

Currently there are two version in the family:
- L10-Standard
- L10B-DT (Drive Trough)

L10B-DT can also be used as a dock or giving larger ships with bowport an easier way to load of at places without docks.

Planned for the future:
- L10-MEDIC
- L10-Command
- L10-Fire-support /area defence
- L10-Helicopter platform

-----------
Class: L10 and L10B
Type: landing craft Heavy, medium
Planned: 60+ in several build period
Build: 15
In service: 10
------------

Length: 46,3 meter (hull)
Beam: 12.5 meter
Draft: 2 meter
Displacement: 300-600 tons
Propulsion: 2 Kamewa Jets, powered by 2 x 1500 hp V16 Diesel engines, trough a Havok complex gear, giving the vessel ability to run both water jet on 1 engine.
Speed: 10 to 18 knots
Crew: from 4 to 8
Armament: (in lockers)
- 4 x 12.7 mm
- Several machineguns
- 2 RPG and several rockets (anti-personell, anti-armor, anti-air)

Thank you all!

L100 Class "The work horse"

The L100 class, replaced L9 class that was totally worn out, The L100 class is shorter then L9 class, but had much more internal volume and flexibility then what the L9 class had. The L100 class provided and right trough internal RoRo deck, large upper deck with large helicopter pad, that could support heavy helicopter. Normally it would operate with 2 small and 1 medium helicopter, where 1 helicopter was always on standby on deck. The class had a small on deck Hangar for small helicopter, but any larger helicopter had to be stored under deck. under deck there was also given space for a small repair facility for helicopter, but also for vehicle and small boats. The RoRo deck stern ramp could be lowered under water, giving Amphibious vehicle easy access. The L100 class was also part of those ships in the Logistic branch that was marked as a more heavily armed logistic/support vessel. The class have also capability to take on board a large contingent of soldiers, with usage of containers with extra beddings, the class are designed with the extra facility and mess hall and power usage for increased people.onboard

-----------
Class: L100
Type: Armed Logistic, semi light Amphibious vessel.
Planned: 22 (discussion about an enlarged version is ongoing)
Build: 3
In service: 1
------------
Length: 98,75 meter (hull)
Beam: 23.1 meter
Draft: 5,94 meter (standard)
Displacement: 5000-7000 tons
Propulsion: 2 shaft, Diesel electric hybrid powerplant.
Speed: 10 to 23 knots
Range: 5000Nm (1000Nm Battery)
Crew: from 12 to 80 (depending on flight crew) (riged to take in Container with extra bedding space on RoRo-deck)
Armament:
- 1 X Twin 40 mm DP
- 2 X single 40 mm DP
- 1+1 X MK 56 VLS (Stanflex)
(in lockers)
- 4 x 12.7 mm

I like it! Bit like a bigger, purpose-built relative of Czernicki. ;)
One thing I really like about Your AU is that You put much effort into support and auxiliary vessels, not just the front-line warships.

The L150 class

- area defence
- close range firesupport
- Helicopter deck that can handle large and heavy helicopter, with on deck full size hangar with facility
- RoRo deck over several levels, with one deck is partially height adjustable.
- aft ramp can lower under water, up to 2 meter.

These are quite dinky support/amphib ships but I like them, compact yet flexible and useful designs.
