Dornier Wal II in Yugoslav service
Yugoslavia operated 1 Do J Wal, and 10 Wal II aircraft before WWII.
In line with Dornier's inhouse naming convention the initial 6 aircraft were the Gas submodel (
G for Gnome-Rhône engines,
a for transport,
s for seaplane), one Bas (BMW engines), and 3 Kas (Hispano-Suiza engines). Before the War, the first 3 aircraft were re-engined with the more powerful Hispano-Suiza engines.
None of the aircraft survived the Axis invasion.
