Novice, thanks for that info! Didn't know that! There's another version then to do! And Kim, already???? Wow, what can I say...sooooooo fast! :D
It's coincidal. When I draw the four others for you I down loaded all other badges I past in my search. And many of these I already have as WIP. Amongst them your two new ships and when I saw that, why not finish them :?:  So i did ;)

Well, Kim, I am awaiting their completion most eagerly, and then I'm going to update the pics. So, Can I order the following from you next (perhaps, pretty, please with sugar on top?!? ;) 8-) :?: :D  ) : Liberal, Defensora, Uniao and Independencia, besides the class leader Niteroi, which, with Novice's new info at hand, I feel compelled that I have to do eventually.

Good news ;) I'd checked my database and I got all five as WIP's. I'll look at it tomorrow, but I've also promised Odysseus some greek badges. I still have four of these to finish, and the greek ones are tricky. They look simple, but are very hard to look right in paint :? (The brazilians are mostly nice and smooth - except for NE Brasils tree  - so I'll guess I can make three brazil badges in same time as for one greek)

 Made a big mistake
The ship that had the 76mm Oto Melara was the Brasil and not Niteroi

That's alright, mate! It still gives me an option to depict that vessel early in her career, i e in the late 1980s (She was commissioned in 1986)

Also IIRC the Niteroi was completed with 76mm Oto Melara Compact gun in front, while the others combattants had the Mk.8 4.5" gun.
Niterói was completed with the Mk.8 gun like the rest of the class. There's a photo on Friedman's second book on British Destroyers showing Niterói and Defensora on the British Channel headed to Brazil that shows it quite clearly.

Yes, I have seen that photo. FYI: I have modified the drawings some, to better agree with some close-ups that I was fortunate to stumble over, but I defer the posting till Kim has completed the pertinent Coats-of-arms. So be patient! Also, more versions, such as the original DP and ASW versions coming up as well as the modernized ones!

Yeah. sometimes people just don't submit drawings to the uploading so they left marooned into the cyperspace

Anyways, this is worthy addition, and I expect these ones getting to the uploading :) Also, I am eagerly waiting to see the orginal configurations (and all sort of newer-wheres and what ifs of this great class )

Few points about drawing though:
- Stepped waterline. Doesen't just look good on shipbucket style. You sure your drawing was leveled correctly? The waterline is the baseline that the drawing should be leveled.
- As the roundeness of the superstructure is so charestaristic to this class, perhaps trying it with going lighter shade instead of darker? to get better effect.
