didn't know they have Challenger 3 now... since internett only list the standard Challenger and Challenger 2...

Officially there isn't, but Challenger 3 is a common term for the planned upgrade. Used in some circles should the Challenger 2 receive a new 130mm autocannon. Unlikely given British conservatism but would be a game changer in the world of MBTs.

ah the Rheinmetal 130mm that was planned on Leopard 2.. I see.

I don't know if the leopard will get the gun, since I have heard talk about an totally new tank
