I have a couple things for all of you today, the first is a fan SBY ship
Cleveland class heavy cruiser
Originally developed in conjunction with the izumo plan, what would become the Cleveland class heavy Cruisers, was originally developed as part of the Escort fleet, for the ships to be built under the original izumo plan, however with the arrival of the iscandar envoy in 2197, the original izumo plan would be scrapped in favour of the new yamato plan, which called for single vessel to make a absolutely colossal Journey to iscandar, to retrieve a device called to the cosmo reverse system, as a result the escort fleet that would have been needed for the izumo plan was no longer needed, and as a result many of these ships that were being built for this even scrapped or cancelled to save resources, however with the Cleveland herself being the most far along construction at about 79% completion, it was decided that instead of scrapping the already nearly complete ship, it would be completed as a testbed for many of the technologies and subsystems that would be incorporated into the yamatos design.
Cleveland would be commissioned on the 16th of October 2198, she would go on to serve during the second Battle of Mars and the battle of Pluto in which 90% of the remaining Cosmo Navy Fleet would be destroyed, with the successful launch of the yamato the Cleveland along with the other remaining Cosmo Navy assets, would continue to guard Earth space against any further enemy attacks until the return of the yamato in late 2199
