A Heavy Metal music clip built around WWII Pacific Theater combat footage, the opening features an unidentified US submarine or submarines, along with various sequences of Kamikaze attacks on aircraft carriers. Here is a link to the video:

Agree, you can find the Kamikaze attack footage at various places, one of which identifies the carrier being struck at 03:23 in the video in a scene which is repeated at 06:18 as being the USS Essex (CV-9) (No idea if that is true or not.), but the submarine footage I've not found anywhere else.

I agree that the footage is great, and around 02:45, there are some disturbing scenes (for me at least), of American sailors shooting Japanese sailors and soldiers in the water (last scene it is quite close at 3:00).
