I was watching The Drydock on YouTube this weekend, and Drach proposed an idea. at 2:17:48 when discussing ships that were bad designs, in this case the Courageous class as whatever they were built for. They were converted to useful aircraft carriers, but Drach speculates about what might have been converted as an aircraft carrier if the British had built something instead of these ships. He also discussed what might have happened if the British had converted an incomplete "Admiral" class or even a G3 (see Saratoga/Lexington/Kaga/Akagi).

Not a challenge, but an idea for an AU project as we all put up with The Continuing Crisis. Enjoy.
