Wiesel 2 entered service in HLK Airborne Forces in 2002, about parallel with Germany. All variants ordered, combined with CH-47 helicopters.

A try on the prototype only (in real life) Weisel 1 ATM HOT for my AU. I am not sure abut the turret itself, made from some photos and illustrations from war games found in internet. Any further source is welcomed.

Relation of RHAF AU with the C-130 Hercules is very long, goes back to late 1960's. In total 24 were purchased, in three batches. First batch of 8 C-130H was included in 1965-1969 Five Year Defense Plan, second patch of 8 C-130H in 1974-79 and last batch of 8 C-130H-30 in 1980-84. Those entered service in 1968, 1975 and 1982 respectively. The program included lifetime Follow-on-Support for the aircraft and maintenance of USAF C-130s on Europe. Hellenic Aerospace Industry was involved in C-130J program from very early and all RHAF C-130 received a full rebuilt to -J spec gradually into 2000s. All C-130 belong to 356th Tactical Transport Squadron "Heracles", and based in 112th Air Wing in Elefsis.

Aircraft are registered with a three digit numbering.

1968-1969

741-748

1976-1977

749-756

1982-1983

757-764

2001

765 & 766 (see below)

Two C-130H crashed in different accidents in 1991 and 1997 respectively and replaced by additional C-130E, which registered 765 and 766.

In my scenario RHAF ordered the CASA C-295M instead of C-27 Spartan in 1999. 24 C-295M were ordered, followed by a second batch of 12 C-295W in 2013, fitted with refueling probe, which retrofitted to older -M into their recent refit program. In real world, Hellenic Aircraft industry had signed a co-manufacture agreement with CASA in case the C-295 was chosen, but I am not aware of its details. Also, in real world, 357th Squadron of HAF was a short lived helicopter squadron with Sikorsky H-19D, but does not appear to have a name.

Aircraft are registered with a three digit numbering system

2003-2007, 24 C-295M

821-843

2015-2017, 12 C-295W

844-865

RHAF AU operates also 16 DHC-5H Buffalo from 1987-88, these belong to 355th Transport Squadron. The (AU) -H variant is a -D with twin GE CT-64-820-4 upgraded in 3,400 shp. All continue to operate after a refit with new avionics. Before DHC-5 RCAF had its predecessor, the DCH-4 Caribou.

Aircraft are registered with a three digit numbering.

1987-1988

901-915

And finally, RHAF AU has 16 DHC-6 Twin Otter, which were ordered together with the float plane variant from private seaplane airliners. In total, about 80 Twin Otter are in service in HLK, only RHAF ones have convectional wheels plus those operated by HCPR, last equipped with tundra tires. Drawing resembles a 300-series Twin Otter, not sure if there are any external differences between 300-series and 400-series.

So, in my RHAF AU, the Air Transport Command has 5 squadrons:

Tactical Transport Squadrons: 354th (C-295M), 357th (C-295W), 355th Squadron (DHC-5), 356th (C-130J/J-30 Hercules) -numbers borrowed from real life Hellenic Air Force.
Heavy Transport Squadron: 373 th (CC.154 Bison) -AU Squadron
Special Operations Squadron: 358th (DHC-6)

Cyprus AU has one transport Squadron with 2 types of aircraft, 6 Casa C-295M and 6 PZL M28 Skytruck. Cypriot Air Forces are officially named "Cypriot Air Command" and has also 4 fighter wings and 4 helicopter wings. Navy Command has a small air wing with 16 AB-412SP helicopters with ASW or ASuW gear and 4 C-295 MPA(HL) with Hellenic origin integrated mission management system.

Cypriot Marine Police acts as the coast guard forces of the island nation. Its small air command has 8 AB-412EP, 4 PZL M28, 8 SA-342 Gazelle and 4 SA-319 Alouette III. Gazelle were manufactured under license in Hellenic Kingdom under a joint program with former Yugoslavia, while the Polish aircraft replaced the Britten Norman BN-2T Defender in service from 2007. 2 BN-2T are still in service for training. Hellenic Coast Guard also retains patrol vessels and aircraft in the sensitive East Mediterranean region at edges of Cypriot EEZ. Finally, Cypriot Marine Police Special Forces (named Special Operation Team, Ομάδα Ειδικών Αποστολών, ΟΕΑ, from the same unit of Hellenic Coast Guard) are tasked to take over Cypriot Oil and Natural Gas rigs in case of terrorist action together with Cypriot Navy Special Forces.

Here is an AU Cypriot C-295M, ordered together with RHAF ones. Same color and roundel, but with a Cypriot flag in tail. Plus the Cypriot AU PZL M28.

In 1972 France offered HLK cooperation in Mirage F-1, which was accepted. Previously RHAF had ordered a large number of Mirage IIIEH in 1966. Below is a Mirage F-1CH of RHAF AU in 1980's. In total RHAF ordered 80 Mirage F-1 (40 F-1CH, 40 F-1EH) plus 16 F-1BH and formed four Squadrons each with 20 single seat and 4 two seat trainers. They were fully equipped with french weapons and electronics, very close to Mirage F-1Q.
