The second serie of sellular container ships classified as Mercur II was build in 1980 - 1985, there were 10 ships built. MV Capitan Gavrilov was the first ship of this class. She entered in service in 1982. Nowadays, 38 years later the ship still in service at the MSC fleet under the name Iris.

The vessel was lengthened in 1988 by 30 meters.

Allow me to echo Eswube's comment on the artifacts, and also mention that none of them seem to contain credits. Good work though for sure!
