Quite rare ship - Orient. The first iron liner of Orient Line and biggest (exept Great Eastern) ship at the end of 70-s years of XIX century

In 1916 the Norwegian company A/R Vestlandske Lloyd (Brødrene Olsen) at Stavanger ordered a new steamer to be named Rosenberg, but in 1920 the contract was cancelled, however the A/S Bruusgaard Kiøsterud & Co. took over the contract, and modified the new ship to a twin propellers motorship to be named Handicap. At the time it was the biggest motorship built in Norway. In 1937 the ship was sold to Ringdals Rederi A/S (Olav
Ringdal) and renamed Ringar, During WW2 the ship remained in Norway, and was sold in 1946 to Argentina, Several more name changes and owners and flags later the ship was finally scrapped at Taiwan in 1967. In 1953 the ship had her engines changed to a single more powerful engine.
