Sweet, these will be useful for me!

the lifestyle 88 is a interesting ship, basically a cruise ship to support the PLAN personnel in the anti piracy flotilla until they can establish a forward fleet anchorage.

there is also a good side profile of the type 920 hospital ship and the PLAN's 886 and 888 class supply ships on those sites.

This is interesting. If the PLAN can waste the Somali pirates they will (in one fell swoop) earn mega kudos as the forthcoming maritime power in the region; and I don't think they'll be shackled by the rules of engagement that has thwarted the other navies - not least the RN.
This could be their Barbary Pirates moment ;)

The "Life Style 88" ship is one of the most unusual "naval" vessels I've ever seen. Not even the USN or any European navy, which tends to be rather luxurious compared to other navies (especially compared to China, incidentally) have such a ship dedicated to luxury and comfort.

Information on this ship is particually hard to come by. but i agree it is intresting, it kind of looks like it belongs with carnvial cruise lines.

I also suspect there is probably a brothel on board

What makes you think that? That's frankly something damning to say.

Im not saying as passing any form of judgement. I just feel that PLAN doesn't have long range bases or alot of overseas ports of call that the US navy might enjoy. Combined with the fact Sailors+ women go together like bee's and honey i just imagine there is probably a brothel on board.
