Dear Shipbucketers,

Greetings! I haven't been very active here since about 2013, but I've done lots of stalking and must say that the quality of your combined works is all up to its usual fine standard!

I thought that, given we are all immersed in the same hobby and field of interest, I'd give some small update on my work! These past months I have been in the process of setting up my own business, doing large-scale profiles of ocean liners to sell as prints and posters.

Here's a small list of some of my completed drawings. Hopefully there will be many more to come. :)

RMS OLYMPIC - 1911\
My favourite ship! At full scale, she is about 1.8 (5'9") meters long.

RHMS AUSTRALIS - 1975
A very popular ship down here in Australia. I draw two 'types' of ships; "immigrant" ships, those that carried people for a new life here, and "enthusiast ships" which ship nerds like us just love. Australis happens to fit into both categories!

And a warship just for fun!

Cheers and happy drawing! 8-)

Beautiful stuff. What are you using to make these illustrations?

Thanks so much for the kind words folks. :)
@Rodondo Nice to hear from another Victorian :D
@eswube Thankyou it is good to be back!!
@Charguizard I'm glad that you like them! Yes indeed, it required a bit of a change of style to finish these!
@Colosseum These are made up in Photoshop. I'm a messy illustrator; some drawings have in excess of 800 layers! haha

Here's a little sneak-peak of a set of drawings I'm currently working on showing the Olympic Class on their respective launch days. :)

These are wonderful works of art.
They must take you a long time to complete given the level of detail.
