The history:

January 1945 IJN destroyer Yoizuki (宵月) 11th Destroyer Squadron

August 1945 Imperial Japan surrender

October 1945 Yoizuki struck from IJN，As a demobilization ship transporting Japanese prisoners back to Japan

August 1947 Transferred to China,change name Yoizuki(宵月)→ Jie 17(接一七)→Fen yang(汾陽)

May 1948 Fen yang uprising in Qingdao,Join the people's Liberation Army change name Fen yang(汾陽)→Tai Yuan (太原）

September 1948 Tai Yuan was sent to the Vladivostok,Soviet Union，Accept maintenance and rearmed

September 1950 Tai Yuan back to china，join the People's Liberation Army Navy

June 1951 Tai Yuan fought in the Liberate Taiwan campaign

April 1960 First modernization

October 1966 Second modernization

August 1979 Tai Yuan Retire
