Hey there,
Second time posting on the forum with my first real design work:

[ img ]
This is HMS Warspite circa November 1942, after a short refit at Durban which replaced her Type 271 radar with the newer Type 273, but before her camouflage scheme was simplified. Plane embarked is the FAA Walrus Mk1 from 700 NAS, which was embarked replacing her older Swordfish floatplane in 1941.

Thanks to Hood (whose drawings of not-quite-1941 Warspite and 1942 QE provided a good basis for this drawing) and K.W. Vestergaard for this awesome CoA.

Feedback and critique on inconsistencies and errors would be appreciated.

Cheers,
kvasius (with a small k).

Welcome aboard, and congratulations on a well executed first (O.K a second drawing).
I can't comment on the accuracy of the drawing, or the camouflage, but the style looks good, but maybe you can take the time to change the big old portholes (round windows of a ship) to the new smaller standard.

not often Colombamike have so few comments on a work, so the work must be quit good overall!

Figured he'd find SOMETHING wrong with it.

Personally I would rather see a thread of discussion of the drawing style and improvement of the drawing (even if it requires Colombamike posts) than 11 "Awesome work!" comments that are totally meaningless beyond providing just generic blanket praise. ;)

The 20mm guns are still the old style - there are upgraded drawings in the archive of parts.
