Thanks! I would like to do, but as you - and all other mates - can see, it's about midships I have the major lacks to do before I can send her to the Mediterrian. But here she is with some few improvements. I will go so far to claim that she is nearly complete fore and aft, but the most difficult task is midships. I don't know how much time it will demand. BUT I WORK HARD AT IT

I have to go easy, but it's hard work. Good photos showing details midships are hard to find, so all progress happens with very tiny steps
But now I have completed the fore superstructure. The hull is also completed and so are most of the aft superstructure. The grey life boat (?) (more likely a motor boat) midships gives me a lot a trouble. In good pictures it either is covered by a tarpaulin or else is gone! Don't bother to critisize it - it's only a draft - but if anyone have info or pictures of that particular boat I'll appreciate assistance

If it's mostly covered by a tarp, if not gone and in use, then cover it! Easiest solution! It still will look great!

That's what we're here for, matey! Btw, I love the choice of color for your railing nets! Really give this ship an edge! Only one suggestion, and I'll leave it entirely to your discretion, since you're the expert on this class: I noticed the SatCom dome on top of the aft end of the forward superstructure is kinda white. Is it so, or is it a shade of grey? If it is a shade of grey, maybe you could look into my Type22 thread and see how I solved that color choice? Also, the commercial InMarSat on top of the chart house looks a tad small compared to what I've got on my Type22, the size for which I researched (a drudging experience!) I'm not sure whether it merely the size of the ship deceiving me or whether you used a different version. But besides these little nit-picks, I say you have a helluva attractive drawing coming!

Thanks for your remarks! The SatCom dom is shade of grey. But I liked what you had done to Type22 so I've had tree options of domes on my latest draft. The left is that already on Fort Austin. The next is coloured with yours colour but roundly shaped as the first. The third in yours colour the traditional way. It's with purpose that the horisontal line on the dome is sharp as it is in reality too!
The InMarSat is infact the same as on Type22, but I've removed the double black line and the red mark because I couldn't identify that on any of my photos.
My question to all you bucketeers is: What dome do you think I should use? I, my self, like both my original and no. 2, but would it be approved the SB-way in the end?

Btw I have produced some net railings to Fort Austin. I felt I was forced to do something new because SB standard rails couldn't satisfy me enough to give the right impression of this magnificent vessel. It's not the first time I've got problems with the right net rails on british ships so I thought it maybe was a good idea to get these net rails in the part sheets. Give a comment and if you agree I will post it in part sheets discussion

I'm nearly complete but five issues still unclarified: What dome should I choose, what is behind the question marks and why haven't the motor boat midships visible ruder and propeller?

Kim, look at my Type22s for a correct shaped and sized ImarSat (at the front edge of the funnels of the London and Sheffield, and the three B3s.) For the big Scot dome, I'd definitely prefer (left to right) no 2. It has the right shape and also I really agree with the way you're emulating its greenish tinted grey, so prevalent in many photos of these structures, not only for your class, but other RN classes of ships too. As for the rudders and shaft, they could either be of the retractable nature or simply detachable. These boats are very different from traditional motor boats and launches, so they may feature non-traditional details. Otherwise, as I've said earlier. Simply gorgeous! - Oh, and I'd wish that you'd take time and do the CoAs for my ships too! Your skills there,is nothing I'll ever match!
