Now, a WWI and WWII classic, the french canon de 155 mm Grand Puisance Filloux Modelle 1917:
In the early 30s many were modenized with solid rubber tires, and a number were further improved with a modified 2 axle carriage, GPF-T, which improved a lot the max. elevation without making a hole in the ground. The two models are shown as they look at the Western Front in May 1940.
The captured examples were named K418(f) by the germans, and were used from the Atlantic Wall in Normandy, to Holland and Norway. The coastal defence mount is very similar to the american "Panama mount".
The "american cousin", M1918 was my first drawing in FD scale, but I realized that it was wrongly scaled, so here is the new corrected version.
