Good morning! Decided to draw probably one of my all-time favorite cars ever, the Subaru BRZ

... aha, the Ki84 of cars !
Im on my 4th Suby, which my garage tells me is the best model Forester ever built. At 20 years old this year and 350K on the clock, that flat four is still going strong. Many great trips and memories from Simpson Desert Sand Dunes to Morton National Park rock track climbs.
Southern Cross rules ok!

Dude Suby Foresters are amazing cars, they just don't die!!!
And they are loads of fun. I am going to turn this BRZ into a what-if Audi/Subaru collab so that it gets the Quattro system (which I love!!!)

You'll have to CGI the plans and send it to Fuji HQ for their next model !!!
My best memory was actually with an Outback - camping on sand dunes in the Simpson then 46˚ at Innaminka and camping on the banks of the Coopers Creek. Got three days of it before a monsoonal front pushed us back south.
The Suby 4WD system is brilliant now that they have proper guard plates around those vulnerable CV joint rubber boots. Man they were a pain to get replaced. My garage used to wait till the CV joints rattled then flip them and get another 50K out of them. Fuji changed the design so you cant do that with the new versions, hohum!

Nice! Outbacks are also great cars IMO. Sounds like a fun time, where are these places?

The Simpson Desert is Mudlamudla country - sandhills with stony desert - Mardapurru on most sides. Its NW NSW/SW Qld/NE SA of Oz.
Morton is SE NSW from Kangaroo Valley down to Eden.

Nice Subaru and BMW motorcycle, Drew!

Back to WWI, a German heavy mortar (minenwerfer), very useful in the trench warfare of the west front. 25 cm sMW a/A.

The short barreled L3 a/A was suceded in 1916 by the longer barreled L5 n/A for better range. It fired a heavy HE shell. Cheers.
