This is the last of the known dedicated attack variants of the well tried Alouette III, the south african Atlas Alpha of the late eighties: MOVED TO REAL LIFE
It had a 20 mm chin gun, but not achieved the production status.
Credits: I tried to mimic Glorfindel´s exhaust and blades to keep the sequence. Cheers.

Pardon me, but for some reason I believed that Alpha wasn't "Never Built" but very much real and flying helicopter.
Btw. I'd also disagree about shape of bottom part of fuselage (and the shade of brown camo).
Hi, Eswube.
I was also with tha dilemma : where is the wright place of IAR-317 and Atlas XH1 Alpha. Do you think that I must place them in "real world" built ones? And yes, with your picture I think that my shade of brown is too dark. I am also going to check the belly ! Thanks
Ah! Of course the IAR-317 is "real" too. For some reason the fact that You posted it here evaded my attention.
The "Never Built" thread, as the name suggests, is for the vehicles that were not built at all (remained on paper/mock-up stage only), not just not reached series production.

Boeing ATF proposal, which original drawing was made by an acquaintance in Deviantart, namely CopperheadYSF23.
Funny thing is, it also has the same chin-mounted air intake, just like the Boeing X-32 had. In a sense, they're basically siblings!
