Ta! My train of thought was along the lines of those fitted to the Perries, limp-home capable but primarily for fine manoeuvring. Granted on the Perry, it's more an issue of them being single-screwed than anything else... It's certainly an interesting thought on just how much they'd affect the acoustics of the ships fitted with them though.

It's a bit overwhelming to see all these drawings together one after the other, there's no lack of interesting bits to look at. Could we perhaps see some varied schemes depicting certain particular deployments if there's anything of note?

Great series again, Bb! On the other hand; I don't disagree with Charguizard comment much...

An excellent series of drawings as ever.
So much to look at!

Eventually, I will be doing blurbs for all the various classes so there may well be specific vessels with their own drawings. That said I do want to get all of the classes represented first.

Something new...

I was never particularly happy with the Type 45 solution as a 'command' cruiser, the VLS arrangement was dubious and it lacked other features I wanted to include and, after a few false starts this is the result.

Essentially (at least aesthetically speaking) it's an amalgam of the Atago and Sejong the Great classes slightly scaled up albeit with some notable changes here and there.

EXCELLENT looking ship Mark :!:

Jolly WELL DONE old fruit. She looks more than capable as a Flagship and a War ship, and her design fits in well with your other classes of surface going warships :D
