Avro 642 Eighteen
At the time the largest aircraft produced by Avro, originally produced with a curved, solid nose, the first Avro 642 Eighteen was refitted with a more standard nose section and sold to Midland & Scottish Air Ferries, before heading to Australia and PNG, eventually being destroyed by the Japanese in 1942.
The second and final 642 was produced for the Viceroy of India and was fitted with four engines.
