Shipbucket

This is something that we have been planning for quite long now (ever since we left away from the photobucket account) and always something else has gotten into the way.

But anyways, as we are no longer just an account in photobucket (and actually are actively supporting the use of other imagehosting sites) We decided to drop the Bucket from our name. But due a tradition and commonality with our past and to avoid as easiest transistion to the use of the new name, we have decided to call ourselves (from now onwards:) as Shipbukée. With this we also try to attract more international imago, and make us more approachable to the older european culture nations, that usually haven't send their best artist (yet) to work with us.

After we have set some technicalities staigth, we will alter the mainsite and forum looks, and also invite our skillfull member base to submit their own desings for the new logo and so on.

Maybe it's correct to change the look of the forum and of the main site but for our name...

I actually thougth of that, but found out that work was getting me overdued, so I decided to stick to the more traditional announcement style.

Gotcha, and quite understandable.

I remember one joke I played on a message board one time. One of the admins and I (I was a mod at the time), started the joke as soon as it was April 1st for him (and he lives in Australia), and didn't end it until it was April 2nd for the person in the last time toze, which was Alaska. So roughly 40 hours of pulling off the joke.

yeah... the first shipbucket joke worked really well ( i think it was to change the scale) and someone threathened to quit the whole thing if we would do it.
