A new topic for all Marine National auxliaries.

First is the submarine depot ship Jules Verne as built in 1931

Going on then

French submarine depot ship Gustav Zede, was the former German depot ship Saar, allocated to France at the end of WW2, she continued to serve submarines till 1965.
