Hi again, everybody.
I am pleased to present my design of the FPSO unit "Petrojarl Foinaven" using the bow and stern of the Finnish vessel "Kalevanpoika" designed by Gollevainen.
It is an offshore platform capable of storing crude oil, processing it, refining it and then loading it into Shuttle type oil tankers. This offshore floating unit was built by the shipyard Astano in 1996 and its construction was not easy.
That year the company "Golar Nor Offshore" acquired a Finnish vessel called "Anadyr" (ex Kalevanpoika, 1988) which was taken to the shipyard to split it in two and take advantage of its bow and stern. If yes, split it in two in a dry dock.
Next it would be united a central body manufactured entirely in Astano, with the drilling tower and all its systems and storage tanks. Currently this offshore platform operates for "Teekay Petrojarl" in the North Sea north of the Shetland Islands.
First of all I have to say that it is not finished at all, I am missing the modules of oil processing and other things. It is just so you can see how it is staying and tell me if something is missing or something can be improved.
Anyway, I wondered if any of you were encouraged to lend a hand because the latter is having a hard time drawing it. I try to look for pictures that look good but there is no way.
Well, a big greeting from Spain.

I'd say you got yourself into quite an ambitious project!
I can only wish you patience and skillful use of layers to persevere, because that's a lot of girders I can see.

Impressive start indeed.
That said, if You actually used whole sections of drawing from Gollevainen's earlier work, then You ought to mention Golly in credits.
