An interesting idea, and beautifully rendered.
In fact the Bremen and a sister boat, the Deutschland were the fore runners of a class of seven boats. The Bremen itself was lost (mined or otherwise sunk, is not clearly known) on her way back from New York to Germany, and so the Deutschland and the other submarines were rebuilt, or completed as the U-151 class of cruiser submarines.

A truly interesting submarine for sure

-Italian colliers Castore e Polluce. Named after Castor and Pollux, two brothers from Greek/Roman Mythology, these two ships were built in 1917 under the designation of "mineral transport steamers" and served throughout the rest of the First World War and the interwar years. During the Second World War, they were sunk by Allied bombing raids on Italian ports. The first was sunk in 1943, the second in 1944.

That's about all the info I could find, a special thanks to Charguizard and ABetterName, as well as the other members of the discord server who helped me refine my design so it could be posted here on the forums!

Very nice artwork. The name "Castor and Pollux" is for one ship,
however (Castore e Polluce). Was there a second ship? What was
it's name?

I knew that name was for one ship, I don't remember however, what the second ships name was. I will go check and see if I can find it and get back to you when I have the info.

2 minor things:
- you said on the discord you hull shaded the overhangs, but it does not look to me like an overhanging bow?
- the shading on the bow does not continue above the waterline. you cannot shade the underwater and above the water hull seperately (you have done it correctly on the stern)
