A few more:
DD-484 Buchanan (May 1944) - Measure 12 (modified)
Buchanan was the near-sistership of Aaron Ward (built side by side at Federal in Kearny, NJ) and almost identical in every aspect. DD-484 is painted in a different style of Measure 12 (modified), with larger splotches than DD-483.
DD-484 Buchanan (June 1944) - Measure 32/3D
Buchanan was at Mare Island for a refit period in June of 1944 and emerged with additional 20mm Oerlikons on the bridge wings and 40mm twins aft (directed by Mk.51s in tubs nearby). Like most DDs of this period destined for the Pacific the ship was painted in Measure 32 (design 3D). DD-484 has received an SC-2 air search radar and an SG surface search set on the mast, along with associated IFF antennas on the yardarms.
DD-484 Buchanan (September 1945) - Measure 21
Buchanan transported Gen. MacArthur to the USS Missouri for the surrender ceremony in Tokyo Bay on September 2nd, 1945. DD-484 ended the war painted in Measure 21 (all over Navy Blue 5-N).
